Back by popular demand, this half day course with Jacqui Derbyshire covers all the basics of baking with pastry.
You will be learning how to make a shortcrust pastry, how to line and blind bake a flan tin, and then how to make and fill the pastry case with a delicious savoury filling. Perfect for a mid-week dinner, or weekend picnic.
You will also learn how to make a quick flaky pastry, which is similar to a puff pastry, but without the faff! This will then be used to make some scrummy sausage rolls.
Everything you bake is yours to take home with you, so we suggest bringing a medium sized container with you.
All refreshments will be provided by us.
