Welcome to The Limpsfield Cookery School.  We were founded in February 2020 by Jacqueline Derbyshire, a self-confessed foodie, who has made it her mission to make cookery classes accessible to all. 

From our purpose-built, modern kitchen in our lovely Old Printworks building, we strive to educate our guests in a fun and inclusive way.  Whether you are starting out with the kitchen basics, practising your baking, or planning to learn a whole new cuisine, we will have a course for you.

All full day courses include lunch and we fully encourage everyone to use this time to have a chat about what they’ve learnt with their classmates and teacher.  You will take home everything that you cook (unless it’s something that doesn’t travel well) – to wow your friends and family with your new-found skills!

We take our menu inspiration from our local surroundings and ensure that we source all food, wherever possible, from the county of Surrey.  We are careful to minimise our food miles and food waste, and strive to operate as environmentally sensitively as possible.  

When we went into lockdown earlier in the year, we had to stop all classes and change our offer to keep open. So we started cooking up delicious home made meals for takeaways and deliveries – from our kitchen to yours. The meals were so successful, we have carried on making them.
