Merry Christmas message from Jacqui

Dear all,

I thought I would write a quick update as we prepare to close our doors for the festive season.

We have just hosted our last cookery class for 2021 and we are closing the cookery school for the next 2 weeks, so that we can all take a well-earned break and recharge our batteries for 2022!It’s certainly been another roller-coaster of a year, but I’m thrilled to say that we have worked extremely hard to continue to establish our fledgling business.

Our first Summer Fair and second, very well attended Christmas Gift Fair were both great successes. We are really happy to be able to support a growing number (20+) local artisan businesses at our events, and were delighted that the local community turned out in style to support them and the other high street businesses in the village.

So many fairs were cancelled this year, so we were very glad to go ahead with it and provide local creative businesses with a much-needed sales outlet. Thank you.

Our pop-up restaurants have proved hugely popular, growing from our first event for 30 diners to our most recent Alpine-themed 2-day event, where we catered for over 90! There will be more dates coming up in 2022 if you haven’t managed to come to one yet!We can’t wait to welcome all everyone back to the cookery school in January – for classes, events and delicious ready meals.

We will be announcing several new chefs in the New Year and adding to our range of classes, with new international cuisines and themes. We will also be making a major announcement in January, so do look out for our social media posts and emails…Finally, I just want to wish everyone a truly wonderful Christmas and a happy New Year.

Thank you for all your support over the last 20 months. It’s hugely appreciated and we are going into 2022 and towards our second birthday confident and excited about the future.

Very best wishes to you and your families,

Jacqui
