I just wanted to say a huge “Thank You” to everyone who has been so supportive in the last few weeks and to let you know our plans…
Since we re-opened our doors towards the end of May, we have been overwhelmed by the kindness of everyone and been thrilled with the steady stream of visitors (all social distancing obviously!), who have been popping into the cookery school to see what we have cooking in the ovens.
If you are passing by, please do drop in and see us, our kitchen facilities, and what we have on offer.
Our New Normal – in the Kitchen!
Life has settled down into a new routine at the Cookery School…cooking! Every day, we are in the kitchen, preparing our ready-meals using the freshest ingredients. We’ve added a few new dishes to our menu too, a Moroccan Lamb or vegetable Tagine and a Key Lime Pie.
All dishes are frozen on the day on manufacture (just as soon as they’ve cooled down), which ensures that everything stays as fresh as possible. Everything is made using the same ingredients that you would use in your own kitchen, so no nasty additives or flavour enhancers ! Orders can be placed on-line, by phone, or just pop into the school. We always have a large supply of meals ready for you to take with you.
Lessons Will Be Back This Summer
We’re thrilled to confirm that our cookery lessons will start again from this August, adhering to current Covid-19 regulations. We will be starting with children’s, student and beginners’ classes in August, with our team of professional chefs back in the kitchen from this September. We are busy working on an exciting range of courses, including Artisan Sourdough bread-making, delicious French Patisserie and International Cuisines. It’s never too soon to start planning for Christmas and we are preparing a range of courses, including a 5-week evening course learning how to make and decorate a Christmas Cake, an Entertaining and Canapé Course, a Christmas Chocolate Day and a Christmas Bread and Baking course…to name just a few! All course details will be added to our website in the next couple of weeks, so please keep an eye out. We will be serving up cupcakes on July 9th for Limpsfield in Bloom’s virtual judging day.
